私は、ゲイツ氏の予測は的中しているように思う。温暖化が進み、世界中の永久凍土が融けると、有害な細菌やウイルスが大気中に放出されるリスクを地球は抱えているからだ。
ゲイツ氏のプレゼンは、最初から最後までわかりやかった。彼のスライドショーは実にシンプルで、プレゼンテーション資料作成の手本になる。印象に残る情報しか掲載していないのがいい。また、だれもがイメージできることに例えて話をわかりやすくしている。一流の人のプレゼンには、無駄な言葉がなく、印象が残る言葉だけがある。
世界に大きな影響力のあることをする人は、①一歩先を見ている。②社会的な問題とビジネスを結び付けて考えている。③より多くの救済につながる課題に取り組む。④儲けたお金を自分の娯楽に使うのではなくて、社会に還元したいという気持ちがある。と思う次第である。
