あのコメディアンのジム・キャリー（=カール）は、なにかと言い訳をつくり、誘いを断り続ける偏屈な人だったのね。
でも、へんてこなセミナーに参加してへなちょこな主催者のおっさんに「これからはなにがあってもYESと言うと誓え」と言われて、「YES」、「YES」と言っている内に、仕事も恋愛もうまくいっちゃうお話なのね。
原作者のウォレスさんが、実生活の中で「YES」と言い続けたことで巻き起こった実話が基らしいわ。
