「レッドクリフ」、「ミッション:インポッシブル２」に次ぐ、ジョンウー監督の出世作。アクションシーンの構図とカメラワーク完璧、実に美しいわ~。FBI捜査官のショーン（ジョン・トラヴォルタ）と宿敵テロリストのキャスター（ニコラス・ケイジ）の顔が移植で入れ替わった後、ショーンがキャスターを倒し、自分の顔と家族を取り戻すまでのデスマッチ、目玉まん丸にしてアドレナリン全開の120分だったわ。それにしても、ジョン・トラヴォルタって、超ワル親父が似合うわよねえ。「サタデー・ ナイト・フィーバー」の青年トニーの時代と比べたらずいぶん肥えちゃったけれど、あの人の場合は肥えて正解。あの風格がいい味だしているのよね。目力すごい！。あのキラ目に見つめられたら、私、いちころ、ころりだと思うわ。
