ジャック（ニコラス・ケイジ）は、恋人のケイト（ティア・レオーニ）の反対を振り切り、ロンドンに旅立ったあと、ウォール街で成功し、ゴージャスな独身生活を満喫していたの。ところが、クリスマスイブの日、立ち寄ったスーパーで、黒人キャッシュ（ドン・チードル）の強盗行為の止めにはいったことで人生が一転。翌朝目覚めると、自分が庶民的な家で別れたケイトとその子供達そして大きな犬と暮らしていることになっていたという現実離れしたお話なの。最後、現実世界に戻ったジャックは、別れたケイトに会いに行き、復縁したい気持ちを伝えるの。これは「正夢」づくりといった感じよね。「もしあの時、違う道を選んでいたら」がテーマなのだけど、対外、「もしあの時・・・と思った時には時既に遅し」ということが多いんだけどね。だからこそ、ファンタジーが輝くの。それにしても、ニコラス・ケイジもティア・レオーニも、瞳の色がとても綺麗。ジャックを誘うケイトの目に魅了させられたわ。

Jack (Nicolas Cage) was successful on Wall Street and enjoyed a gorgeous bachelor life after leaving for London, defying the opposition of his lover Kate (Téa Leoni). However, on Christmas Eve, his life changed when he stopped the robbery of black cash (Don Cheadle) at a supermarket he stopped by. When I woke up the next morning, it was an unrealistic story that I was supposed to live with Kate, her children, and a big dog who broke up in a common house. Finally, when Jack returns to the real world, he goes to see Kate who broke up and expresses his desire to reconnect. This is like making a "Masamume". The theme is "if you choose a different path at that time", but in many cases, "if you think that time ... it's already late". That's why fantasy shines. Even so, both Nicolas Cage and Téa Leoni have very beautiful eye colors. I was fascinated by Kate's eyes asking Jack.
