IT業界の人はいち早くキャッチしていたニュースであるが、米国イーロンマスク(50歳)がウクライナに衛星通信Starlinkの基地局を提供している。イーロンマスクに、Starlinkの使用を頼んだのは、ウクライナのフェドロフ第一副首相(31歳)。ウクライナの最年少閣僚だ。日本の政治家の平均年齢は55歳を超えている。迂闊なことはいえないが、日本の政界も重要ポストに賢い若者を起用してみたらどうであろうか。若さゆえに、既成概念にとらわれず、突破力がある、柔軟で情熱的といった見方もある。子供時代からインターネットがあった世代、IoT、情報活用の知恵も多いのではないか。
